Delivery terms and Conditions

We may occasionally amend our terms and conditions. All changes will be
posted on the www.BillabongFurniture.com.au site prior to coming into force and any
pending deliveries will be notified.
All furniture is delivered fully
assembled.
It is possible to flat-pack settings at
an extra cost, standard settings to be flat packed will be 2.3m long as to fit
sideways across the truck. Once furniture has been collected from our factory we will
contact the client with the approximate delivery time, contact details of the
delivery driver & his Company. Access should be clear and
unobstructed prior to arrival of the carrier. The majority of our carriers
use maximum size rigid pantec trucks (similar in size to a tourist coach). If
access is not clear, e.g. trees obstructing driveway or street, the customer will
be responsible for getting the furniture from the closest point possible by
truck, to the property/site. If the carrier is forced to return the goods to
their store and re-deliver in a smaller vehicle it will be at the customers
expense.
Delivery prices quoted on the www.BillabongFurniture.com.au site
allow for a maximum manual carry of up to 6 Metres, this is because of the size
and weight of our furniture. If the furniture has to be carried further than
this we request that you have two strong people available to help, this is done
at the risk of the client. If the furniture has to pass through a narrow gate or
walkway, in the majority of cases it is easier to disassemble the furniture,
carry it through in pieces and reassemble it. This can be done by the driver (at
the client expense) or by the client. We will provide assembly instruction if
the client wishes the take this on themselves. If the driver has to do it, we
need prior notice so the driver can allow time for it. Provided we are notified in advance, our carriers can
often deliver using a smaller vehicle at no extra expense. We strive to be
flexible in this area, if a ute can be borrowed from a neighbour, or furniture
can be left at a more convenient location etc, .
Payments must be made
by cash, cheque, money order, credit card or direct deposit, prior to any
furniture leaving the factory.
Although it is our policy to fill all
orders within 30 days, the majority of orders are delivered within 14
days. Unless otherwise specified, all products must be signed for at
the time of delivery. Cancellations are only accepted if the order is one
of our standard products and it has not been dispatched. Cancellation of special
orders, will only be accepted if we have not started the manufacturing process
on that order. If the order has been dispatched prior to the cancellation,
delivery and return charges may apply. All furniture remains the property of
Billabong Garden Furniture until payment has
been cleared. If in the event payment can not be made
before delivery a further 10% will be added to the invoice cost.
